Transfers by Type
Part 5 - Garage Specific Transfers. These contain all routes from an individual bus garage. (02/09/1986 until 1995)
Full fare passengers were given white transfers. Half fare passengers were given green transfers - later, when green paper was no longer available, the route boxes were printed in orange for half fare transfers.
There were only two base plates used during this era. The first had the "1/2" in a circle, the second had the "1/2" in a square. The differences came with the overprints. Date and serial number colors changed each year as did the garage/routes within each year. Contrary to our numbering of the regular issue transfers in sections 2 and 3, here each year is shown as a different style. The renumbering of the previous regular issues was done to simplify the style identification. Applying that logic here will make the style numbering more complicated. We are in the process of deciding how to best handle this. For now, each year is a different style.
